People Can Fly Layoffs & Project Cancellations

The studio behind Outriders and Bulletstorm, People Can Fly, announced layoffs and the cancellation of two major projects:

• Project Gemini – A collaboration with Square Enix, canceled due to lack of communication from the publisher regarding milestone agreements.
• Project Bifrost – A VR game suspended due to cash flow issues and lack of resources.
• The studio is now scaling down teams, affecting multiple departments. However, their work on Gears of War: E-Day with The Coalition remains unaffected.
